Is your child interested in running a server? Here is a plain-language explanation of VMSky, how costs arise and what you can discuss together before getting started.

What is VMSky?
VMSky rents out servers for projects such as game worlds, websites and bots. We provide the technical infrastructure. Our customers manage the software they install and the content they host.

Plan the costs together
Servers are paid in advance from a customer account balance. The price, term, resources and any surcharges are shown when ordering. Agree on a budget together and check the details before every payment.

Keep track of the term
Renewals are paid from the available balance. A server that is not renewed is suspended when it expires. Under our terms, data may be permanently deleted from seven days after expiry. Back up important content in good time.

Use by minors
Please discuss registration, orders and payments with your child beforehand. Agree on who manages the account and pays the costs. If you have questions about use by minors, contact our support team before placing an order.

Security and responsibility
Running a server takes care: use a strong, unique password, enable two-factor authentication and keep installed software up to date. Discuss what content is published and who gets access. Our DDoS protection does not replace updates or backups.

An unfamiliar payment or a question?
If you do not recognise a payment or want to discuss an order, contact our support team. Include the date and payment reference where possible. Never send passwords, full card details or access codes. We will review the issue; refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable law.
